American Truck Group, LLC (ATG) owns more than 400 over the road Class 8 tractor units. These 400 trucks allow more than 400 truckers to become their own boss. It is American Truck Group’s goal to help truckers live their dream while helping to put the American trucker back to work.
ATG enters into an agreement with the trucker, which is technically a rental with 1st option to purchase. At the end of the rental period, the Owner-Operator takes title to the truck. In this way he has earned a living and ends up owning a truck outright in his own name. This program is referred to as the “The Golden Rental Program”.
